Clarifying World Cup format and draw
For the 2026 World Cup, FIFA's format has changed to 48 teams grouped into 12 groups of 4, with the top two from each group and the eight best third-place teams advancing to a knockout stage. Teams from the same confederation will be separated, except UEFA, which can have a maximum of two per group. It’s possible for France and Norway to be grouped together. The draw is random, and the final draw will likely happen at the end of 2025 or early 2026.
不太可能是“强行凑一块”，分组不是按球星配对的。
- 世界杯分组是按国家队来，按FIFA排名分档+洲际回避规则抽签；欧足联同组最多2队。不存在按球员名字去“指定同组”的流程。 
- 姆巴佩=法国，哈兰德=挪威。2022挪威没进世界杯，根本无从同组。2026若挪威出线，理论上可以和法国同组，但那也是按档位和回避规则随机抽出来，不是刻意安排。
